The Tent with a view Lodge is located on the Coast of Tanzania , just outside of the Saadani National Park, where bush meets beach (the park borders the Indian Ocean!). Being close to the park, and direct on the beach, this rustic, natural lodge combines game viewing and bird life interacting with the sea.

There are ten tented bandas, elegantly perched on stilts and spaced out along the pristine Indian Ocean beach, offering total privacy, Each banda are furnitured with an individual theme, with ensuite facilities and large balconies with hammocks overlooking the Indian Ocean.

The spacious seaview restaurant and bar is also elevated on stilts. There restaurant serves a wide range of international cuisine, and the bar is well stocked with Sout African wines, beers and liquors.

Activities from Tent with a view Lodge

Foot safaris combining the bush and the beach, birdwatching by canoe on the Mafue river and game drives are all available from the lodge, and a boat safari on the Wami river to see crocodiles and hippos can be combined with a Safari in the Saadani.

Early morning safaris offer the best opportunity to see a small population of elephants.

The lodge has started its own turtle hatchery at the lodge to help conserve this endangered species.
